A month or so ago they sent a peremptory note to the City Council ordering them te appoint three Trustees to co.operate with four appointed by the Government. The Council responded at once by appointing three Trustees. But the Government have not yet made their own appointments. the City Schools are sadly in need of re that the Trustees will have their hands full for some time, The Board of Trustees should be constituted at once, that they may be able to make ar. rangements for renting schoolrooms, en» gaging properly qualified Teachers, and other details necessary to the proper car- rying out of the new School Law.
