Dr. McEachran has purchased some fifty acres of land just outside the city limits for the purpose of erecting an establishment, the purpose of which is to develop an out- side market in British and other European countries as well asthe United States for the best quality of Canadian-bred horses. Gladstenes Amendment Rejected. Lonpon, March 10. After further debate in the House of Commons this evening, on Gladstone’s amendment to the Parnell Commissioners’ report, the amendment was rejected, 339 to 263 Abolishing Tax Exemptions Hauirax, Mar. 10.
