THURSDAY - FRIDAY In Mernoriarn Thursday, Sept. 1;195SThe Ouertlan Page I HENRY GOODWIN Friends and relatives were sad- dened to learn of the death at Charlottetown on June 20. 1955, of Henry Goodwin in his Mth year. Two years ago he was stricken with an illness from which he never recovered and on the above mentioned date he passed away fortified by the last rites of the Roman Catholic Church of which he was a devout member. During his illness he was fre- quently visited by his pastor. Rev. J. B. Croken. St. Teresa's, and was tenderly nursed by his family at home and by the sisters and staff THERE'S FUN FOR YOU - - - - AND THE FAMIY TOO - - ' AT THE NORTH RIVER DRIVE-III THEATRE Mr. James Gillan. Jr. Charlotte-I town is spending a two week vac-i of the City Hospital. Charlotte- town. - The late Mr. Goodwin was of a kind and generous disposition. always ready to help a neighbour or friend in need. He leaves to mourn his passing his sorrowmg mother. a sister Mary (Mrs. Leslie Smith) and a brother Patrick at home. The funeral was held on June 23 from his late residence to St. where Requiem High Mass was celebrated by Rev. Fr.Gallnnt who also performed the serivces at the grave.
