By RICHARD HAINES The UPEI Theatre So- ciety prepares to tread the boards once more this week- end with their performance of An Evening of Theatre. Just as in every spring semester the Theatre Society does a major production, suchas last year’s production of William Shakespeare’s A Midsum- mer Night's Dream directed by Ron Irving (see front cover), in every fall semester the Theatre Society does An Evening of Theatre. Last year three plays were staged: Lucille Fletcher’s Sorry Wrong Number, Stephen Bragg’s Sex Lives of Superheroes, and Carol Bolt’s Maurice: A Rock Musical. This year the Theatre Society will be proud to present Tyrone Guthrie’s The Birth- day Message directed by Rebecca Lake, and Oscar Wilde’s Salome directed by ne Feel the Magic of the Season Saturday, November 28-1:00 P.M. 2 Parade Route: Starts at University Avenue (Experimental Farm entrance), down University Avenue to Grafton Street, : right on Grafton Street, and ending at the Government Buildings. Support the Food Drive along the Christmas Parade Route for the Upper Room Food Bank. Following the parade everyone is invited to Santa’s Christmas Party- Confederation Centre nnual Christmas Parade of the Arts.
