He was born at Kingston, N. 11., Feb. 15, 1906, son of the late Franklin E. and Etta Martin Firield. He was educated there and attended Sanborn semi- nary. He was a veteran of World War 1 and a. former member of IOOF. He was employed by an oil company in New Hampshire ior many years, and at the time of his death was foreman of Howell st Watson Company in Dover. NH. This is one of the largest universities in the world, with an enrollment of around 25,- 000. This is a high honor in the medical world and reflects credit on this Province, as the Doctor was born on St. Peter's Road, Cardigan. Dr. Docherty was re- cently in Charlottetown after vis- iting. his widowed mother and brother Cyrus. These courses are instructed by Miss Mary Robin, Supervisor of the P. E. 1. Women's Institute, Mrs. Ralph Manning, assistant Super- visor, and Miss Betty Daniels who is studying Home Economics at Acadia University. The courses being held at the Vocational School for the Junior Club members to help prepare them for the Dominion Competi- tion held at the Royal Winter Fair, in Toronto.
