April 19. a repeat performance was pre- sented in Vernon River to s capac- ity audience. The talented cast was under the able direction of John D. Mac- lntyre, who also took part in the play. Beautiful furniture. which made the stage setting look most natural was generously supplied by the firm of. Crockett and Storey. The Souris Players acted their parts in a manner which gave evidence of their ability to portray the characters for which they were cast. T-33 jet training plane crashed in a field about four miles north of the R.C.A.F. station at Mount Hope, and five miles south of Hamilton, Ont. R.('.A.l'i officials said the two men aboard were killed. The plane, on a routine training flight with a pilot instructor and a student. apparently plunged to the field while coming in to land at Mount Hope. The pilot insirut-inr killed was Donald G. Jack in 1952. Surviving are a sister. Bes- sie of Maiden. Mass; two daught- (Mrs. Hicks) both of Maiden; and two sons. William. at present an in- spector of schools in North Battie- rd..
