THE ATHABASCA MINE.
The 10-stamp mill at this mine has
been at work for a. little over two
months. Usually a mill run is had for
thirty days before a clean up is made,
and in this way the average working
value ot the ore per ton, and monthly
results of the workings oi the mine are
ascertained. The first clean up (after
a thirty day run) at this mine took
place a little over a mouth ago, but the
English Company working the proper-
ty did not let the public into its confi-
dence, and all th__e information the Can-
adian shareholders received was, that
the mill run had been very satisfactory.

on our local market are held very firm.
