Hawirax, July 7.—At the fishing points ia Anticosti the fishery of cap'in is reported very good to-day at South West Point, and the cod fair, but there are no fish or bait at any of the other stations on the Southern cast of Q 1e- Che codfishery is reported fair at Perce and Newport Point, but poor at Puaspebiac owing to the wantcf bait. Herring fair at Perce and a few are being netted at Newport Point. Mackerel are reported as taking hooks freely at Miminigash, P. E. Island, but all other fish are scarce around the coast as far as Albecton. Ccd tishery is very good at George- town. Mackerel and lobsters are poor and herring are reported struek in off Panmure Island. There were fair catches of herring and mackerel at St. Ann’s, C. B., of mackerel af St. Peter’s and of herring at Arichat. Her- ring still good at Luenburg, N. S., and mack- erei fair.
