Lea, and boring is going On at Pickering’s brook. This brook was tested on Tuerday, and showed a flow of 600,000 gailons per tweoty four hours, a supply sufficient for the domestic requirements of a town of twelve thousand inhabitants. Mr. Percy Tanton has given Chairman Hunta written agreement to sell the water supply of this brook, together with land. sufficient for pumping station and plant in connection therewith, and right of way through his farm for the water mains, for $1,008, should these privileges be required at any time.--Summerside Agriculturist.
