HANDICIIAFT EXHIBITION The sixth Provincial Handicraft The food display for 1955 was the largest and the best that we have ever received. In the classes for home sewing the quality of workman- ship has improved. We feel a great deal of this is due to the presence of the Handicraft Van and the work and encouragemerit given by the instructors in so many districts. The same may be said of the handicraft exhibits displayed at the county exhibitions, where we have had the pleasure of judging so much fine work. County ex- hibitions were held at five cen- tree, and the judging at four of these was done by the Women's Institute staff, assisted by Mrs. Willard Prowse -and .st Dundas by Miss Heather M'acI.ean.
