Tue Patriotic Concert held in Victoria on Wednesday evening under the auspices of the “ Choras Cinb ” ef that place preved to be @ decided success, financially and otherwise. Deepite the lateness of the season, bad roade, etc., the hall was filled to the doors before the hour of opening. That the entire programme was thoroughly enjoyed by all present was clearly «Lown in the attention znd hearty applause bestowed by the audience. The performers in several instanceajwere given enthusiastic encores. The bal! was taste- fully draped with flags and other decora- tions, while portraits of Her Majesty the Queen and pictures of Generals Buller, Reberts, Kitchener, etc., were displayed on beth sides of the platform.
