This modern eating place which is such an important addit- ion to the entertainment facilities of the town. stands as a monu- ment to its designer and builder. the late Leo Coyle, who met a tragic death in an automobile ac- cident almost one year ago today while on a hurried business trip to Moncton, N.B.. in connection with this restaurant. The late Mr. Coyle was a native of this province who, after having made a. success in the United States. returned to the Island a few years ago to enter the restaur- ant business. Having imagination . and vision he planned this. new restaurant and banquet hail which would be something outstanding in its lirre and an important tourist attraction for the town and prov- ince. He died before it was com- pleted. It was finished and is op- erated by his sou. Mr. Charles doyie, a war veteran, who came here from Boston on his father's death.
