Back for another year! My name is Laurie Callaghan and I am Vice President Finance (VPF) forthe UPEI Student Union. Iama third year Business student, majoring in accounting. The VPF has many duties within the Student Union. I keep the financial records of the Union and keep everyone informed on issues pertaining to the fi- nances of the Union. I also present financial reports to the Executive and Council members. As VPF, it is also part of my duties to be a representative on the Board of Governors. I have been invovlved in the Student Union for two years. Last year, I wasa Business Representativeon Council and now this year on the Executive. Getting involved in Student Union activities was one of the best things I’ve done at UPEI. It has helped me to learn a lot about the role of the Student Union at UPEI, and what they’ ve done and can do for studeits. Now you have achance to join the Student Union.
