While breaklnga tiny phial containing lymph for the purpose of vaccinating an infant, a particle of the class flew up and struck him on the pupil ofthe eye, and adhering to the glass fragment was an almost microscopic quantity of calf's lymph. The doctor realized the danger of vaccination to which he was exposed, and immediately bathed his eye. So tender, however, is the skin of the eye that the glass made a minute scratch. A day or so afterward the usual symptoms which follow inoculation gradually appeared. \ The pain and discomfort which or- dinarily arlse from the operation in this instance are acutely aggravated, and he is goin'g through exactly the some process I as if he had been vaccinated on the arm. , He cannot sleep and in consequence the eye is never at rest, but it is out consider- .ed likely that the sight of the unfortunate doctor will be impaired. doufhl, colds, lnncnoll. and other lured ailments are quickly relieved by Oreeolono tablets. ten coats mr box. May 10.-For three days and three nights the woods inthe vicinity of Peacock settlement, the parish of Botsford, have been searched for Ralph and Ollie, the little children of John Creamery, but so far without result. Thelittle Ones were last seen at the edge of the woods about six o`clock Sunday night, but though the alarm was 'given shortly after their disappearance no itrace of them has so far been discovered. From fifty to seventv-five men and boys have joined in the search. Creeks and bonds have been dragged for their bodies but still the mystery remains unsolved. The whole country round about Bayfield is greatly exulted over the sad rf’f`alr and all hopes of a safe discovery of the children have been abandoned?
