Our Provincial Farm Forum Com- mittee met Monday afternoon. Ar- rangements were made to help com- munity leaders to organise new groups and hold follow-up meet- ings in school districts and smaller centres during the past few weeks. It il evident that our organizat- ions must have an active and in- formed membership if they are to develop and function properly. There is definite progress being made in this regard. We can all spend some real pleasant evgnincs by organising and holding a Fanm Flor-um meeting each Monday night for the winter months. Office Moved Little by little farmers in the Chariotietow area are getting their coopera. ve set-up into shape. They expect to open a super-market and farm supply for their members early 'in December. The second floor has been laid off in offices and we moved in Tuudsy. New quarters for the Womens’ lu- stituies, Clo-operative Union, and Credit. Union League are on the same floor. v National Choose Week Next week and every week we should eat more cheese and do more to publicize and sell our own products. Most of the Island Ched- dar Cheese has been cleared out of storage as a. result of organized ef- forts and advertising. However, there is new problems confronting the cheese business. Some set-up and arrangements will have to be made io put our Island Cheddar cheese on the market in smaller and more attractive pack- ages and at the same time maln- tain the qualily. The Cheese Board will be meet- ing shortly and we hope will have acme recommendations to make to the next meeting of the Dalrymens’ Assogiation which will be held on November 18th.. County Federation There has been a demand from several Farm Forums this week and at recent meetings for the organi- mtion of our County Federations in» the near future. ' We would like to have the react- ion of all our members in this re- spect. Talk it over the next time you meet and let us know. _ Our oiiiice is now open for your suggestions and to provide or pro- cure any information possible.
