Properly finished capons are the last iyvrd in poultry meat. A5 far as P05511111’. we are following a plan of controlling the breeds of poultry produced on PEI. Our main breeds suitable for this purpose are Barred Plymmll-h Rocks and New I-IampshLres. when the buying public sneak; of "capons." let them think of PEI. capons. with the right kind o! effort and direction we can ac- complish much. We must awaken to lfhe fact, that P.E I. as well as the rest of Canada will have to meet greater competition in quality and in precision processing and packag- Ing of poultry products than before the war. The combined and co- ordinated efforts of all ooncemed throughout the entire industry are required to conceive and apply everyth that is needed to be done, Critical analysis, constructive d18- cusslon on methods of procluctlon processing and marketing are need- ed now, not later.
