A Stewart. seta Back To THE Farm.—The opening cf the haymaking season ie making considerable gaps in the ranks of the men werking in the sewerage trenches. One of the gangs was this morning reduced to two, and the others have come dowu greatly in num- bere. The country has its attractions— attractions which many farmer’s sons do not find out until they leave the farm. No doubt many cf the men missed their usual rations of buttermilk and cream. They could not have asleep for ao hour during the heat of the day, and evea a dollar a day was not enough to counteract the longing to get out into the hayfields.
