On June 1st a bingo and auction sale was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Arsenault under the auspices of the St. Thomas Aquinas members of Howlan with a fair attendance. 16 rounds of bingo were followed by the freeze- out. The prize for this was a beau- tifully decorated cake donated by Mrs. Leo Arsenault and won by Edward Gallant. Leo Arsenault was then invited to act sis auc- tioneer and he in his capable and efficient manner acted as said thus realizing from sale $8.50. After this sale was all over the hostess assisted by some of the wiches and doughnuts.
