The marriage emony took place. at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Alex McDowell, Southport. me bride wore a two-tone wine dress iridescent taffeta and car- ried a nosegay of red and white carnatlons. She were also a. silver breach and bracelet of exquisite craftsmanship, made by natives of Indonesia, given by the 'groom. The matron of honour was Mrs. Alex McDowell. The groomsmau was Mr. Pieter Kooymen. The attractive twenty-five year- old bride arrived in Canada by plane on September 15. In Holland. because of her knowledge of the English language she worked with an Importing Company. The groom. Lambertus I-Ianevcld of Loosdulnen. Holland-, a. market- gardner by trade. arrived in Can- ada in April this year. He served with the Royal Dutch Army from May i946 to Sept. 1949 and has seen action in Indonesia. Till now he has been employed by Mr. R. snaz- zeile, Southport and he and his wife wil move to Central Bedeque where he will work at the poultry farm of Mr. Ivan Dawson. When all had gathered. and Mr. and Mrs. Hardy had been escorted to the seats of honor.
