Mrs. Clough had, just placed the money in the till before going into her adjoining home for a few minutes. When she returned the money was missing. The earthquake was also felt in Ljubljana, the Slovenian capital. - pear in the 3 Boys Among First To'Begi~n Seal Hunting One of the first in the current series of land-loving seals to ap- coastal areas of Prince County was discovered in a field near the outskirts of ‘ Abram’s Village, which lies near’ the Egmoiit Bay shore. The land-based mammal was found by three brothers Arthur 17. Raymond, 15, and Jerry, 13, sons of Mr. and Mrs. Emmanuel Gallant. The seal at this time was approximately two and one- half miles from his less venture- some companions riding the flees in Northumberland Strait. The boys managed to stun the stray and loaded the carcass on a hand sleigh. About three hours later while they were hauling their catch homeward, the ap- parently deceased seal regained its senses and hopping off the sled, slithered away bent further exploration of the unusual en- vironment in which it found it- self. The young hunters however kept their quarry in view, and, procuring a rifle, made sure their catch was permanently despatch- ed. Car Damaged By Hit And Run A 1957 Dodge car owned by Charles Hogan was damaged to an estimated $500 Saturday night when struck by another vehicle which apparently did not stop.
