Rules, Conditions and General Information ofthe Contest READ CAREFULLY Any woman resident of one of the districts named who is of good character and between the ages of fourteen and forty-five, whether married or single, is eligible to compete, provided the conditions set forth below are complied with: Candidates may be nominated in the regular way or they may nominate tlieuiselves, either by the enrollment coupon or letter or they can hc nominated by a friend. ' All nominations must be accompanied by the proper home address of the candidate. . No employee of The Charlottetown Guardian, nor uiernber of his or her iinuiediate faintly may become a candidate. The Contest Dcpartnient reserves the right to reject any candidate or contestant it niay consider undesirable, without giv- ing a reason for doing so. i Tli_e balloting will be by means ot' single ballots, which will be published in all issues from The Guardian, and reuewulg and new stibscribers to The Morning Daily, Rural Daily and Satur- day Guardian will carry votes according to the 'accompanying scliedule of votes. _ Votes cannot be purchased.
