on this sumptuous bill.
The famous comedy trio, Roger
Imhof, Hugh Conn and Miss Marcello

lct, called, "Surgeon Louder, U.S.
A." This is as clever a bit of iarce
as has been produced in vaudeville in
many years. The scene depicts the
Red Cross Quarters in o. Western
Military Camp before a batt1e_ and
the characters represent a surgeon, .1
private in the ra_nks and a Red Cross
Nurse. The"a`c`tion oi the skit is a
rapid-iire, dialogue of brilliant wit,
never failing to register laughs,
which are provided in liberal quan-
tity by the author. The surprise cli-
max is very funny and will not only
secure spontaneous applause but will
cause yells of hilarious laughter.
Then comes another pleasant sur-
Drise comedy feature oflered nere for
the :irst time, called “All Aboard,”
and presented by those well known
comediennes, the Misses Bertie Her-
ron and Bonnie Gaylord. The scene
shows an entire Pullman ear, with

characters of porters. The skit fair-
ly sparkles with brilliant lines, each
a surs=hi‘e'1augh and the playlet is
hound to be one of the big laughing
numbers on the program.

DIGBY, November, 17-The car-
load oi canned iinnan buddies, re-
ported in the St. John press as being
taken out oi the cold storage plant
in that city and dumped, was put up
by any of the Digby town iirms. The
lot consisted of seven hundred
cases, or 33,600 cans, and the total
loss oi the packer amounts to $3,000.
It is alleged that the packer was
the victim of unscripulous work by
one or more' 'ot his employes
and it the details were published
make interesting matter for the
press. The integrity oi the Packer
cannot be questioned for his de-
cision to dump the whole shipment
rather than put any part of the
goods on the market, is ln keeping
with his standing ); as a citizen and
