R. O. Johnston of St. John. N. B., was assisted by Rev. W. C. Wilcox. pastor of the church. The wedding music was played by Mrs. W. C. Wilcox and during the signing of the register Mr. Fred MacMillan sang. "Tho Bri- dal Prayer." The church was beautiful with cut flowers. streamers and wed- ding bells and the guest pews were marked with white ribbon and pink roses. The bride. who was given in marriage by her father. was becomingly attired in white satin wedding gown with fitted bodice trimmed with ocean pearl buttons. full skirl. and long lily 'pointed sleeves. Her three-quarter length veil of rayon net was held in place by a coronet, and she carried I. cas- cade of red roses with shower of maiden hair fern. Mrs. Doug- las Rlx of Saint John. N.B., was her sister's matron of honor. Her floor-length gown of lilac taffeta had a fitted bodice with high neckline, full skirt and short sleeves. She wore a shoulder- lengih veil of lilac net held in place by a coronet of flowers and carried a bouquet of gladioli. Miss Esther Ashley and Miss Dorothy Bonyman were brides- maids. Their gowns and veils were ,similar in style to that of the matron of honor. Miss Ash- ley wore maize and Miss Bony- man were apple green. Both carried gladioli. A delicious buffet luncheon was served on the lawn. The three- tier wedding cake was topped with a miniature bride and groom and a nicely decorated bride's cake was made by the groom's mother.
