OBITUARY.-The funeral of the late Jas.
G. Gourlie, Tignish,who passed to his rest
on Saturday, 28th ult., took place last
Sunday aftcrncon, and was very largely
attended. The service was conducted by
, Rev. D. McDonald, assisted by Rev.James
Murray. The deceased who has been in
his 62nd year, was a. native of Glasgow,
Scotland, having emigrated to this Island
some .40 years ago. Mr. Gourlie was a man
of considerable intellectual ability, and
possessed many amiable qualities, and
will be much missed in the community
over which his sudden and untimelydeath
p has cast a deep shadow of gloom. To his
