It has one of the largest and best equipped pork-packing establish ments in the Dominion. On the west sideis in the Park;on the east side are the magnicent new Exhibition Building and Driving Park. Chief among its pub- lic squares are Queen Square in he centre ofthe city, beautifully laid out with bloom- ing plants ot everydcscription, a fountain and well arranged walks, and enlivened with a band of music during the summer evenings. The rural scenery in the vicin- of Charlottetown is charming, and horses for driving are abundant at very low prices.
