New Facilities for Audio-Visual The Audio-Visual department has finally moved from their cramped and dusty quarters in the Robertson building to the Atlantic Veterinary College. Don Lane, spokeman, said the move took place just before Christmas. The new facilities include a sound proof booth for audio taping, new darkrooms, and improved lighting capa- bilities in a new sound-reduced production studio. The main function of the A/V department is providing uni- versity instructors with film, slide, opaque, and overhead projectors. Taping of classes, editing, and duplication ser- vices are also provided to de- partments like Psychology and Education who use them. Audio-visual employs two tech- nicians to maintain equipment and uses the services of a pho- tographer and graphic artist. The Department also produces special video features; a slide presentation was produced for the university fund raising campaign, and almost com- pleted is a promotional intro- duction tape for high school students.
