Lemon Pie Filling One and one half cups sugar, 4 tablespofms flour, 5 tablespoons cornstarch, 1-2 teaspoon salt, 2 1-4 cups bouing hot water, 3 eggs, sen- arated, grated r nd 1 lemon, 1-2 cu; ‘emon juice. Mix sugar, flour corn» starch and salt and to them add boiling water strring constantly- Cook for 15 minutes in top of double boiler, stirring as 1t thickens. Bent egg yolks well and pour cooked mix- ture over them slowly, stirring eon- stantly. Return all to top of double boi‘er and cook a few m nutes 1on2- er. Remove from heat. and add lemon juice and rind. When cold pour into baked pastry shell. Cover! with meringue made by whipping two of the left over egg whites to 11 stiff froth.
