Earl Russell, HEREAS the Lieutenant Governor of Her Majesty’s Island of Prince Edward, with the Council and Assembly of the said Island, did in the month of May , 1864, pass an Act, which has been transmitted, entitled as follows, viz:— No. 1155 “ An Act relating to the Office of the Commander- in-Chiet‘. ’ ’ And whereas the said Act has been laid before Her Majesty in CounCiI, together with a letter to the Lord President of the Council, from the Right Honorable Edward Card well, one of , Her Majesty's Principal Secretaries of State, recommending that the said Act should receive ller Majesty’s speCial confirmation. Her Majesty was thereupon this day pleased, by and With the advice of Her Privy Council, to declare Her special confirmation of the said Act, and the same is hereby specially confirmed, rati- fied and finally enacted accordingly.
