AUBURN SCHOOL CONCERT A Christmas concert by the pupils of Auburn school was largely attended by the Parent-S and many from the surrounding country. The program consisted of dialogues and recitations. solos instrumental music on the guitar and violin. During the intermission there was a sale o! candy. Miss D. Curlcy and Mr. John Grimes rendered selections on the guitar and violin. The speakers of the evening was Rev. Father Crocken of Fort Augustine who spoke in his well chosen words of the credit due Miss Curiey for her energy and perseverance in preparing the pupils. Mr. Angus MacNeiil chairman, also spoke on the com- mendable way in which the teach- er handled the children. He also spoke of the order kept. willie the entertainment was being staged. At: the conclusion of the program Santa Claus appeared on the scene. and made his way around to the well laden Christmas tree taste- fully decorated and laden with gifts for the little tots.
