The dinner and tea tables, groaned, as the saying is, under the good things provided by tbe adies of the parish ;the refreshment tables were surrounded all the time, and those in charge of the swing, the striking machine, the bowling alley, the wheel of fortune, the dancing ssloo.s and rubber bails were kept busy from morning till night. A large wiad-mill set up op the grounds attracted considerable attention. The Miscouche band provided ine ov the band stand.
