More of an Introduction Why is that now that this Creative Writing issue has been compiled, I can’t squeeze out another ounce creativity for the Introduction? What is there to say? We’re tapped out. We put out the call all over campus and you responded with poems and short stories. Some contributors are familiar to The Cadre, and others are Cadre virgins. All were welcome to the publishing love-in we call the Creative Writing Issue. The basic point is for you to delay your studies. You know you have to remember why hexavalent chromium is toxic, ft. ee I hove. three papers due this week and four exams coming up. ‘eS a but staring at the wall always seems so much more appealing. We hope this at least marginally more entertaining. It’s kinda nice to think that we’re not all reduced to scholastic automatons by this . time of year. Usually, I’m a total zombie by now. That’s the one thing this issue is missing: a piece of work about the living undead. Oh, well, the next Creative Writing Issue is in April.
