Y., we are enabled to give a list of the leading drivers in the Maritimes dur- ing the season of 1954. In explanation we, may state that the Halifax Raceway, Ltd., a three-eighths of a mile track. is in membership with the United States Trotting Association and is conducted as a purse rac- ing track and drivers winning over it are included in this rating. It is with pleasure that we, salute top driver George S. Turner, with the re- markable percentsge of .612, which we believe will put him at the top or at least very close to the top of the list of all U.S.T.A. drivers.
