With— out qualification, it was the nicest experience I have had in three years at U.P.E.I. The fondest memories I will have of Carnival will be the cooperation and assistance of over 100 students. It is unfortunate that those who desPair over apathy could not have been at Confederation Centre at daybrake Saturday to see those freshmen labouring to prepare for the Carnival Ball. They also would have been enlightened to follow‘ the guys who set-up the car ’ rally or the members of the Junior class who went to Kinkora for potato sacks to make torches and to Fort Agustus for straw for the square dance. These are a ,few examples of the amount of work involved and the ‘ _ number of hands necessary Jo . to make Carnival a success, I would like tofitakep_ y“ ,if’.; ' thisippportunity to exposes: ' a heartfelt THANK—YOU toall who contributed so much to making Carnival what it was.
