There is no mistaking the identity of
the coilin lor the plate thonon bore the
following quaint inscription.
PATRICK U0'l"i‘ER 0'BRIEN
Whose name was Cotter,
But he called himself O'B|-len.
Whose stature was lift 4in .
Hr died on Sept. Sth, 1811.
Aged 46. '
Patrick, it appears, was as gigantic ln,

A native of Klnsaie, Ireland, local
history records that his manners were
'amiable and unoffending, and _ the
inflexible integrity of his conduct through

which he awaited the approach of death
proved that his principles were strictly

of exhibiting himself, and he directed
