examination in Ottawa on Tuesdiay,
Mr. 'I‘. S. Hubbard. Provincial ‘Court
Stenograpiier, of this city, has beenl
appointed to the Hansard staff for
reporting the House of Common-s -pro-
ceedings. Eighteen candidates entered,
the examination but only two survived
the fliial test ,and Mi‘. I-liubbard was
offered and accepted the appointment
on the spot. - Mr. Hubbard is to be
