     IN pursuance of an Act of the General Assembly of this 
     
    

    
     lsland made and passed in the Eleventh year of the 
     
     reign of Her Majesty, Queen Victoria, intituled “ An Act 
     
     for levying further an Assessment on all Lands in this 
     
     Colony, and lor the encouragement of Education;” and also 
     
     an Act in amendment of the said Act, intitulcd “An Act 
     
     to explain and amend the present Act for the Assessment 
     
     of Land, and the encouragement of EduCation ;” and also 
     
     of an Act made and passed in the twenty-fourth year ol the 
     
     said reign, intituled, “ An Act to raise funds for the pur- 
     
     poses ol Education by imposing an additional Assessment 
     
     on Land in this Island, and on real Estate in Charlotte- 
     
     town and Common and Georgetown and Common,” I do 
     
     hereby give public notice that 1 have made proclamation 
     
     according to the terms of the said Acts, of all the under- 
     
     menticned Town Lats, Water Lots, Common Lots, Pasture 
     
     Lots. Islands, Townships, or parts of Townships, in this 
     
     Island, in arrear lor the non-payment of the several sums 
     
     due and owing thereon. to ller Majesty, under and by vir~
