Oct. 6 - The Provincial Forest Fall Frolic will be co-hosted by the P.E.I. Roadrunner's Club and the Department of Agriculture and Forestry's Natural Resource Division. This is a good opportunity to participate in the run (registration is at 9 am and the runs start at 10 am), enjoy the autumn colours, or to bird in the New Harmony Demonstration Woodlot. The registration fees are $10. There will be a barbecue after the run. Oct. 10 - The Island Nature Trust will host a Winter Bird Feeding Clinic at the Farm Centre in Charlottetown starting at 7:30 pm. Dan McAskill will be the speaker. Oct. 11 - The Island Nature Trust will host a Winter Bird Feeding Clinic at Eptek Centre in Summerside starting at 7:30 pm. Jackie Waddell will be the speaker. Oct. 14 - A good day to enjoy an Introductory Birding Field Trip. Eric Marcum will lead the trip which will be done using a car pool of the participants.
