An applé tree, set out by Mr. Richard last sprisg, has grown three crops of apples, the third and last yield being still on the tree and looking healthier than either of the former lota. 2The tree was set out in May and blossomed and brought forth frait. The apples grew to the size of birds eggs and were blown off sometime in June. In July the tree again blessomed and this time grew apples a size larger than the June crop. The third and last attempt to grow a goodesized hardy apple has been made by the tree.
