The testing of new variet- ies of vegetables and promotion of a virus-free strawberry pro- gram will be expanded during the coming season. The increas— , ed entry list and the improve- ment in quality would indicate that the Harvest Exhibition has a place in agricultural promo- tion and should be continued. “The matter of providing processing facilities for the products of our farms has continued to receive every con- sideration. Eleven plants have been assisted and these provide facilities for poultry packing, canning, strawberry packing, cold storage, vegetable packing and freezing, and the manufac- ture of dairy products.
