Melody Mcinnis Janelle Blanchard Ashley MacDonald of the Women's Rugby Panthers recently earned the prestigious athlete of the week award in Atlantic University Sport, for the week ending Oct 17th. Having scored 10 points in a 15-11 Panther comeback win against St. FX, Ashley gave the women a shot at first place and a spot in the playoffs. It was a huge game for the rising star, a lst year science student and rugby MVP from Charlottetown Rural, who currently sits third in league scoring with a whopping 26 points.
