DONALD STEWART _ An aged and highly esteemed resident of Huntsville passed to her eternal reward on March 30th. in the the person of Margaret Nich olson, relict of the late Donald Stewart, Hartsviile. The deceased was born in the Isle oi‘ Sky. Scot- land, in the year 1835 and thus had reached the ripe old age of 86 years. In the year 18-11 she came to ‘this country with henparents and ‘has resided here ever since. Throughout her long life she took a deep interest in all that pertain- ed to the urpbuildinlg of the com- munity and ever stood for tihe things that were best. For forty years she was a consistent mem~ ber of the Iiiartsville Presbyterian -Church. During the last few years of her life her health was not good and she was confined to her room. a good part of her time. Through these years of her illness and of old age she was tenderly cared for by her daughter Miss Margaret. When the end came she was [found ready and she died as she had lived trusting in the merits of a crucified Redeemer. M-rs. Stewart leaves to mourn the loss of a kind and loving mother one son and four daughters The one son is Mur dock of Hartsville and the daugh- ters are Miss Flora and Mrs. Annie Sherman both of Lowell, Mass. Mrs J H. Newman. Elmwooil. P E- 1. and Miss lilvargaret at home. Be- sides these she leaves a step-son in the Canadian West. and a step- dlnughter in Pictou.
