Charlottetown has stcitted the ball wlling in the campaign for funds to raise $l0,000 in Prince Ed- wflfd island. The "Special Names" canvass is now on in Char- lottetown and will continue next weak with the general canvass. Approximately 300 of Charlattetown's busiest men will canvass m town and there seems to be no doubt that their efforts will be crowned with success. Later a campaign will be held in Summerside and other ls- lnnd centres. g The funds raised will be used to provide more education, early diagnosis, early treatment and increased facilities. The slogan of the campaign is: ”GUARD THOSE Y_OU LOVE. GIVE TO CONQUER CANCER." X -Ray, Radium Surgery and treatment by X-ray or radium are tha only ef- lective means of treating Cancer today.
