AILENE DOWLING Arlene Mary Ellen Dowlln.. arts. was born in Charlottetown on June 10, 1037. She received both. her primary and high school education at Saint Joseph's Con- vent, from which she graduated in 1953. The next year found Arlene at Saint Dunstan's University, where for four years she proved herself an apt student and a keen participant in extra-curricular act- ivities. She has held positions in the Sigma Delta Sorority, the World University Students' Coun- cii, the Foreign Mission " and the Dramatics Society. Ariene's 'candid and true character won for her the friend- ship and admiration of all with whom she came in contact. Her interests have been so undoubted- ly those of the college. that St. Dunstan's can be sure of hav- ing in Arlene a worthy member of its Alumnae.
