March 9 ——(AP) — Irvin R. Schindler, who pleaded guilty to a conspiracy charge in- volving an attempt to fly a plane to Israel last summer, today won a suspended sentence in Federal Court. Judge Simon H. Rifkind also placed Schindler, 33, on probation for one year. Schindler. United States Air Transport Command veteran, flew the plane. a. 3-17. from nearby Weatcheater County airport last July and landed in Halifax be- cause of mechanical difficulty. Later he flew to the AMNLWIIQIO Portuguese authorities turned the plane and its crew of nine over to United States su horities.
