(Special {to The Guardian) Last weekend about one hundred members of the House o! Gom- mons accepted the invitation oi the Toronto Board o! Trade to visit Toronto and be their guests while in the city. Those accepting the invitation came from all parts of Canada and from ell the parties represented in the House. Arrangements were made to go down on the 11.5.5 p. m. train. This gave the members ample time to go to their hotels after the Hours closed and get their luggage. The train arrived in ‘Toronto about 8 a. m. and we were taken by bus to the King Edward Hotel, where accommodation had been arranged for us. After breakfast we were taken on a. sight seeing trip by bus through ‘rorcnto end the surround- ing towns. ' O O O It was my first extended trip Io Toronto and I was struck by how much nature had done for ‘Ilorcnie and how little advantage had been taken of the natural fea- tures to make the city more at- tractive and more pleasant for thc inhabitants. Toronto is full of beautiful ravines that ruri for miles through the city. It would seem that the beauty o! these ra- vines could be enhanced with very little effort. Toronto has many fine condition. It has been scraped conducted by Rev. W. G. and reminds one of the summer roads. . 0’Leary lletes Mr. Albert Noonan wee a visitor to Charlottetown on Monday. cemetery.
