George Ayers was the winner of the senior all-around championship, Kenneth Beer of the intermediate, and Bob Clark, Summerside of the junior. - Promir_ent among the contestants and can-ying off a large number of iirsts was Emmet Donahoe, Sourls. representing S. D. U. This young athlete is the son of the late Dr. Robert Donahoe famous all-around athlete of a number of years ago. Most spectacular of all events was the winning of the mile run by 'Sparky" Lodge in record time. The long smooth stride, the steady and _ynwavering gait, and the brilliant finish combined to make the evenel one of the most pleasing to watch or the events contested last night. The crowd in attendance was veiy large, but the absence of parents of many contestants was a. matter of regret. Great interest was taken L1 each event. His Worship Mayor Prowse at the eiose of the meet presented the winners with their prizes. The. rain, which was threatening all day, held off till the last event was completed.
