Now we do here- by give public notice, to all parties concerned, that we will com- mence the execution of said Commission, by attending at the Fortune Cove Bridge, on MONDAY, the 16th day of JULY next, at the hour of 10 o’clock in the forenoon of the same day, and will proceed then and there to execute the said Commission accord- ing to Law. IS Excellency the Lieutenant Governor in Council was this day pleased to fix and determine the rate at which the amount of the Invoice of Dutiablc Goods imported into this Is- land from the United States of America, shall, in estimating the duties payable thereon, be reduced into current money of the Island, as follows:— In all cases where such Invoices shall be made out in Dollars and Cents of the paper currency of the United States, the amount of such Invoice shall be reduced into current money of this Island, by allowing for each Dollar the sum of Five Shillings, and in the like proportion for any fraction of a Dollar; of which all Collec- tors of Impost are to take notice and govern themselves accor- dingly.
