There will be the following classes and purses:-
Free For All, Trot and Pace, Purse $200.00
2.24, Straight Trot, Purse $150.00
2.30, Trot and Pace, Purse $ 100.00
ENTRIES, close Tuesday, August the 18th. Entrance fee
five per cent of purse, five per cent from money winners additional.
Five to enter and at least three .to start. , .Purses divided, 50, 25. 15
and 10 per cent of purses. Races to finish at the end of the fifth
heat. All mile heats in harness.
Any horse distancing the field or any part thereof, entitled to
First money only. Right reserved to change order of programme
or to declare race off, where sufficient number or entries are not
received, and make new class, to reject any entry, or bar any driver.
Any number of horses owned or trained in the same stable, may
start in the same class. National 'I` rotting Association Rules to
govern except, where they conflict with the above conditions
No intoxicating liquors, or intoxicated persons will be allowed
on or near the grounds. Hot dinners will be served on the grounds,
and will be under the same management as on former years, which
in itself is sufficient guarantee of the best meal in the town. There
will also bc well stocked ice cream and refreshment saloons, and
the usual amusenients.
'l` he track was neven so good, there will likely be some former
race records broken this year, will you see them?
The management has added an additional seating capacity to
their grand stand, of five hundred, so their should be plenty of 'room
for every body this year, there will also be an additional ticket
olhce, at the gates.
The following tram arrangements have been made, carrying
horses as well as people.
