     IN pursuance or an Act of the General Assembly of this 
     
     Island made and passed in the Eleventh year of the 
     
     reign of lie; Majesty, Queen Victoria, intituled “ An Act 
     
     for leVying further an Assessment on all Lands in this 
     
     Colony, and lor the encouragement of Education;” and also 
     
     an Act in amendment of the said Act. intituled “An Act 
     
     to explain and amend the present Act for the Assessment 
     
     of Land, and the encouragement of Education ;” and also 
     
     of an Act made and passed in the twenty-fourth year of the 
     
     said reign, intituled, “ An Act to raise funds for the pur- 
     
     poes of Education by imposing an additional Assessment 
     
     on Land in this Island, and on real Estate in Charlotte- 
     
     town and Common and Georgetown and Commou,” 1 do 
     
     hereby give public notice that 1 have made proclamation 
     
     according to the terms of the said Acts. of all the under- 
     
     mentioned Town Lots, Water Lots, Common Lots, Pasture 
     
     Lots, Islands, Townships, or parts of Townships, in this 
     
     Island, in arrear lor the non-payment of the several sums 
     
     due and owing thereon to Her Majesty, under and by vir-

     Eleanor‘s, described as follows: Commencing at a stake fixed on 
     
     Frederick Cannon's North line, running from thence along said lino 
     
     West thirty degrees, North five chains; thence North thirty degrees, 
     
     East ten chains; thence East thirty degrees, South five chains; 
     
     thence South thirty degrees, West. tcn chains, to the place of 
     
     beginning, Containing two acres of land, a little more or less,
