Leah Andrione I found this album rather repetitive. It seems as though ever since Alinis Morrisete got popular, every second female in north America feels compelled to become her. Leah sounds lot like a mix between Alanis and Tori Amos. Sure Tori is talented, but I don’t think we need another. The album does have a very nice tempo. All the songs start out with a new and funky beat, but somehow the mold back into each other by the half way point of the song. I took personal offence to the childishness in songs like “Happy Birthday”. I think the teenage grunge attitude has already run its course through the music scene, so Leah, stop being so bad. Over all, I found the album not worth buying, or listening for that matter. I think all anyone needs to do is go by one of these female artists albums, and then wait until the fads dies, they are all the same. I regretfully give this album 2 out of 10. Kula Shakur Although these guys are British, they still manage to impress me. The world may be trying to recover from that “Oasis” thing, but i say give this band a chance. They managed to sound like the Beatles and still be original. Now the songs are much more spaceier than any Beatles song. tran fo synthesized singing really sounds good with the music. I found this album. very Rotem ica Conta Leah and Offspring. It gave me alittle bit of a reminder that the world of music does consist ofa little bit of talent. I think anyone who likes REM. or U2. or even PearlJam(three of the most talented bands in ee s industry). might like these guys. As I said they are British, but don’t Ict that distract you. they are surprisingly talented. I think they are defi- nitely worth a shot. They do have some really poppy catchy songs like “tattva. and lucky mix #13”. Buricd bencath the spacey sounds and catchy beats. you'll find lots of talent though. | give this album 7 out of 10 Be A FaMous CD REN IEWER -
